Banjo came to us from an owner who was unfortunately losing his home. We are sorry for the gentleman and his situation, but very glad we are able to provide some much-needed medical care for Banjo. Before his transport had even arrived, we had set up his vet appointment because we knew he needed to be seen quickly. He is on a number of medications for congestive heart issues and we are looking forward to his next visit when he'll have an echocardiogram. We expect the vet will be able to provide a bit more detail regarding what's going on with his heart, and we hope she will feel he's made some progress on the medications. In the meantime, he has settled in nicely in his foster home! He's a good boy and his foster mom allows him to sleep in bed with her or on the couch. He has been resting a lot but he does enjoy his walks, typical beagle with nose to the ground smelling everything! At this time we are only offering Banjo for sponsorship as we would greatly appreciate any financial help with his medical bills. Stay tuned for updates!
